I've been traveling this week and found myself in a nondescript tavern eating dinner. This may be difficult to believe for those who know me but I usually just have some beer and eat my meal quietly while decompressing watching some sporting event.
Tonight I happened to strike up a conversation with two young guys (very young). We started talking about football and ended up talking about life and relationships and organizations. These two young guys were only 23 (my shoes are older) and are just getting their first toehold in their career and life. Talking with them caused me to remember just how intimidating (aka scary) the world can seem at that age - or any age frankly. It's people and organizations like DSACO that help us cope in our weakest, most vulnerable times. Whether you donate to my wacky adventure or not, please pay things forward and help one another. You will never regret it.
