Alex The Man Jones - Part II
Traveling with Alex is interesting. The Man would live in a hotel if he could. I tend to forget about his "assessment" of the hotel room.
I should interject that I travel a bit and have gotten a little immune to hotel rooms. However Alex always walks in and says "Cool" and immediately begins looking around. This time I stood back and just watched. I wouldn't call Alex innocent but even at a soon to be 33 he has a child like wonder.
I thought a bit as he was walking around. How the more we are blessed, the more we take our blessings for granted. We get comfortable but with that comes a hardening.
Just something to think about and consider. Just another thing Alex is teaching me. Just another reason to embrace and support people with a disability although I often wonder who has the disability. Just maybe "they" are embracing "us".
