The Book of SEAL

This evening my son-in-law Scott, and Misogi mentor, reminded me of the "Book of SEAL" aka "Living With A SEAL". The book holds a special place in my heart as it is about, in the end, continuous improvement.

The Book of SEAL reveals that it isn't just doing something difficult but it is also about the "conditions". SEAL states at one point, and I paraphrase, "the worse the conditions, the more I like my chances".

Which leads me to my blog (who made up that word by the way).

After almost 75,000 burps I sometimes get a little bored. This leads to a wandering mind and, as I've discussed before, I need to remember my count.

I recently decided to spice things up by seeing how long I can hold my breath while doing burpees. Trust me when you're holding your breath you remember your count really well. I'm up to 7 burps. After 7 I'm pretty light headed (an added bonus). I think if I make 8 or maybe 9 I might pass out but my goal is 10.

Somewhere I'm hoping SEAL is nodding his head in approval.
