Different This Year

This year we are looking for people to participate by DOING and perhaps raising money. The rules are pretty loose and may change but you can participate by doing any type of exercise with a 3-2-1 theme.

It could be something like I’m doing say 300 squats, 200 push ups, 100 pull ups or it can look totally different depending on your interest. Some examples like:

  • Ride your bike 32.1 miles (or 32.1 K)

  • Do 321 sit ups

  • Swim 3.21 miles (or 321 yards)

  • Whatever your imagination allows though I’d suggest not drinking with Scott and Kari at the time as that’s where bad decisions happen.

Think about it but we would love to add you to our team. As an added incentive we are considering bestowing blogging rights for team members!! More to come on that.

BTW - I tweaked my elbow 2 weeks weeks ago. Saw my ortho guy Thursday (probably not a good sign that I have an ortho guy). He told me I have some tearing of my tricep tendon and that I need to not push things (aka push ups). When I told him what I was up to he stated (after a very long stare ) if doing 50% of the event (what I did two weeks ago) caused tearing I had a high risk of rupturing the tendon. Ever since taking a baseball shot to the groin as a kid i have been very anti-rupture. With that in mind I will likely substitute Mountain Climbers for the Push Ups. I have my IT peeps working on updating the website and videos. I hope no one feels misled.
