Alex The Entertainer

Many of the funniest moments in my life have come from my children. Sometimes at their expense, sometimes at mine and sometimes some combination. That's kind of how humor works I guess.

About two years ago my daughter Kari finagled a trip to the WWE Summer Slam event for her brother Alex. (Side note - Kari was nominated for Sister of the Year that year. She ended up losing in a close vote to some woman who gave a kidney or something to her brother. If you've ever attended a WWE event you'll agree she was robbed.)

At any rate Alex loves WWE so they flew from Knoxville, TN to NYC. At some point during the flight they encountered waves of turbulence. Drinks were flying and passengers were getting panicky. In the middle of the turbulence Alex throws his arms up and and yells Woooo as if he is on a roller coaster at Cedar Point. Kari is trying to shrink away I am sure. If I recall correctly another wave hit and Alex repeated his performance. Knowing him he was laughing the entire time. 

I fly often and to this day whenever we hit turbulence I am so very tempted to throw up my arms and yell Woooo.
